Bespoke Book Commissions

Have an idea for a book that doesn't exist yet?

A bespoke commission gives you the opportunity to create a book around your own ideas, whether you're looking for a completely custom rebind, a special sprayed edge, a personalised gift or a design inspired by a favourite story.

What Can Be Customised?

Depending on the project, your commission can include:

  • Custom hardcover binding

  • Book cloth and cover colour

  • Cover artwork

  • Foil details

  • Custom endpapers

  • Ribbon markers

  • Sprayed or decorated edges

  • Quotes or personal details

  • Book-inspired themes and designs

How It Works

1. Tell me about your book

Send me the title of the book and tell me what you'd like to create.

2. Share your ideas

You can send colours, photographs, sketches, references or simply describe the feeling you're looking for.

3. We develop the design

I'll work with you to establish what will work best for the book and the materials available.

4. Your book is handmade

Once the design is agreed, I'll create and finish your book by hand.

5. Your finished commission

You'll receive a one-of-a-kind book created specifically around your idea.
