Exquisite Rebinds and Original Prints
Meet Marcellus's new favourite outfit. This handcrafted rebind gives Remarkably Bright Creatures the cover it deserves — a bold orange octopus sprawled across slate blue cloth, tentacles and all.
Flip to the spine and you'll find a little hand-painted reef hiding there too. Open the cover and you're hit with a wave (literally) — marbled endpapers in deep blue and burnt copper that look like the ocean decided to get artistic.
Finished with an orange ribbon marker, because even an octopus needs to keep its place.
This is a handcrafted custom book rebind, designed and finished by hand at Spray & Rebind Studio in Southampton, UK.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted, meaning no two items are ever exactly the same. Small variations and imperfections are part of the process and add to the character and uniqueness of your book—this is the beauty of something truly handmade.

A completely original, hand-bound edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray, designed with a classic dark green cover, gold detailing, and beautifully marbled endpapers inspired by traditional antique books.
Every signature has been sewn entirely by hand, giving the book a strong, authentic finish and making each copy feel truly special.
Perfect for fans of classic literature, this hand-bound edition turns The Picture of Dorian Gray into something made to be displayed just as much as it’s made to be read.

I wanted this rebind to capture the feeling of looking out into deep space. Vast, beautiful, and of course, full of Taumoeba in the Petrova Line.
The cover is wrapped in a Petrova red book cloth, with hand-painted book edges representing space with a touch of Taumoeba and Tau Ceti planet cut out of the front cover taking centre stage being stared at in awe by Grace floating beneath it. Rocky and his best quote ‘amaze amaze amaze’ are on the back and red ribbon and marbled end papers finish this book off perfectly.

Sprayed Edge Books
A bright, bold sprayed edge for Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman, featuring a vibrant pink fade into yellow with the iconic “Goddamnit Donut” across the edges.
Colourful, chaotic and a little bit ridiculous – exactly as a Dungeon Crawler Carl design should be. A fun nod to Carl and Donut’s unforgettable relationship and one of the series’ most recognisable phrases.
Each sprayed edge is painted by hand, so small variations make every copy unique. Includes paper back copy of book. The book will be able to be read after sprayed edge is applied.
Have a favourite book that deserves something a little more special?
Send me your book and I'll create a custom sprayed edge designed around your ideas.
Whether you want a simple colour, a combination of colours or something inspired by the book itself, custom sprayed edges are a beautiful way to transform an existing book without changing the binding.
What's Included
This listing is for custom sprayed edges only. Your existing book is prepared and finished with your chosen sprayed edge design. Your design can be discussed before ordering to make sure we agree on the colours and overall look.
Creating Your Design
You can choose a colour or colour combination, or we can discuss a more specific idea. If your design is inspired by a particular book, character, setting or theme, tell me about it when you enquire.
For particularly detailed or unusual designs, please get in touch before ordering so I can confirm what is possible.
Sending Your Book
Once your order has been placed, you'll receive instructions for sending your book to the studio.
Please make sure your book is packaged securely to prevent damage during postage. If you're unsure whether your book is suitable for sprayed edges, contact me before ordering.
Finishing Your Sprayed Edges
Your book is carefully prepared before the edges are sprayed. Once the design is complete, the edges are sealed and finished to help prevent sticking and minimise colour transfer.
Every book is checked by hand before being returned to you.
A space-themed sprayed edge for Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, with a deep cosmic design scattered with stars and celestial details.
Among the space theme is a flash of red representing the Taumoeba
Designed to complement the book without giving too much away, the edges bring a little piece of the Project Hail Mary universe to your bookshelf.
Each set of edges is sprayed by hand, so slight variations are part of what makes every copy unique. Includes paper back copy of book. The book will be able to be read after sprayed edge is applied.
